We know your child has a wonderful future ahead of them, but we also know that it’s hard to know where to start. That’s why Summit is the perfect next step for them after school.

It’s a two-year, full-time, paid traineeship with hands-on ministry, training, mentoring and an encouraging community. As your child leads on 30-35 camps a year and gets trained in ministry and outdoor education, there’s no chance of wasting time! They will develop foundational skills in leadership, teamwork, problem solving, time management and more. These skills will be valuable now and in the future, wherever life leads them.

Plus, during the program, your child will be able to work towards formal qualifications, making it a great way to take a break from full-time study without leaving a gap in their growth and learning.

For more than 30 years, Summit has been a place for young Christians to get equipped and grow in their faith.

Why you can trust us

Summit is a ministry leadership program by CRU. CRU’s mission is to share Jesus with school students in NSW, the ACT and WA.

Summit began in 1990 and, since then, over 300 people have been trained through the program and shared the gospel with hundreds of thousands of young people.

Each week around 2,000 young people are reached through CRU Holiday Camps, Day Camps, Study Camps, Educational Camps, and supporting Christian ministry in schools. CRU also operate two amazing camp & conference centres near Sydney; CRU Galston Gorge and CRU Lake Mac.

All our trainers are highly skilled with years of on the ground experience in outdoor education, ministry and working with young people. As well, many come with either Bachelor or Master qualifications in theology, education and leadership.
